4th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament
Monday, March 11th, 2013
Sugar Creek Country Club

Business Partners joined the Stafford MSD Education Foundation to raise funds for scholarships and classroom grants on
March 11 at Sugar Creek Country Club for a golf tournament. Players traveled from as far as Dallas, San Antonio, and
Austin to play in the scramble and show support. The first place team was Linebarger, Goggan, Blair and Sampson, LLP.

The foundation would like to thank all businesses and organizations for making the event a huge success!

Our Mission: The Stafford MSD Education Foundation will increase educational opportunities
for SMSD students through grants and scholarships generated by partnerships with educators,
parents, community members, businesses, and civic leaders committed to bridging the dist-
ance between needs and resources.

The Stafford MSD Education Foundation was founded in 2004 to create a partnership of educators, businesses, community
members, parents, and civic leaders to assist in meeting the ever-increasing demands of providing a high quality education.
The Foundation is a tax-exempt organization established to secure financial support and other resources for SMSD academic
programs. Foundation funds support needs within the district that fall outside the scope of the normal operating budget.
Students and teachers benefit from grants and scholarships either funded or orchestrated by the Foundation. Stafford MSD
Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations. Gifts and donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.

5th Annual Gobble Hobble 5K Fun Run Walk and Push!

The 5^th Annual Gobble Hobble Run and Walk took place Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the SMSD complex! This family-oriented
event is one of the Foundation's biggest fundraisers and great fun for all that participate! Runners began at 8:00 am and walkers at
8:45 am. Registration included a shirt, goodie bag, free food, and the chance to win great prizes.

B.A.P.S. Charities Walk

B.A.P.S Charities hosted a walk to benefit Stafford students on Sunday, May 6, 2012, at 9:00 am. Walkers began and ended at Sugar Land Town Square and information is available on-line at https://my.bapscharities.org . This is the consecutive 3rd year that B.A.P.S. Charities donates $5,000 of scholarships to Stafford High School graduates.

The Foundation Board approved $20,000 to fund classroom grants!
